Seafood Blues and Jazz festival is a hit

Locals and visitors are making their way to Pleasure Island this weekend for the annual Seafood Blues and Jazz Festival. This year the festival welcomed iconic, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gregg Allman to the stage. Wilmington resident Jay Ross has been called up from the practice roster to the active roster of the Buffalo Bills. The New Hanover High graduate will be eligible to play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Ross has yet to play in a regular season NFL game. Full story...

Four people are behind bars after two people were stabbed Friday night in Brunswick County, including a teenager. Deputies were dispatched around 10:16 p.m. to 2157 Linda K. TR SW in Supply. When deputies arrived they found two people who had been stabbed. Full story...
