FIRST ON 3: Lightning strike believed to cause Oak Island house fire

videoIt was a scary situation for police on Oak Island after spotting flames shooting from the roof of a house Monday night. No one was home when fire crews responded around 9:30 and quickly put out flames in the back of the home's attic.

Camera footage shows anti-ballpark sign being stolen from man's property

video A Wilmington man thought he was safe displaying an anti-ballpark campaign sign on his property, but was surprised to find the sign missing over the weekend. Bill Buck says he did not expect his "vote no stadium tax" sign to be stolen. He also did not expect to catch the crime on tape.
