Mother charged with trying to kill daughter, cat

video A New Hanover County woman is out of the hospital and now in jail charged with trying to kill her daughter and cat. Jeannie L. Marvel, 49, is charged with attempted first degree murder and felonious cruelty to animals.

Sure we're used to seeing a big, red fire truck from time to time. But what about a bright, pink truck with signatures detailing its paint? "Guardians of the Ribbon" is an organization that supports women and their fight against cancer.
