Only two players from the Mideastern Conference earned 1st Team All-District honors for girls high school basketball. Unlike previous years the best players in the Mideastern Conference did not dominate the all-district honors for District 2 this year.

Former Hoggard guard Stilman White played 32 minutes on Friday for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Look for those minutes to decrease if Kendall Marshall plays on Sunday in St. Louis. The All-ACC guard practiced on Saturday for the first time since breaking a bone in his wrist in Greensboro.
