On Tuesday night we featured the Wilmington Hammerheads pre-season soccer game versus UNC Wilmington. We have highlights and post game reaction. On top of that we had high school baseball, lacrosse, and tennis. Plus Lenon Fisher announced his retirement from East Bladen High after coaching the football team in Elizabethtown for 32 years.

A jury is deciding the fate of a man accused of hitting and killing a father and son cycling on River Road last year.
Thomas Grooms took the stand in his own defense during his murder trial. He is accused of killing David and Trey Doolittle last April.

The Port City is the feature of an eight-page spread in "Garden and Gun," which combines gardening with outdoor sports in a decidedly southern flavor.
