Work to reverse the controversial "road diet" in Carolina Beach did not start as planned today.
The Department of Transportation says because of the weather over the weekend, the contractor who was supposed to do the reversal had to finish a different project today.

A five-month-old Wilmington girl has the new heart she's been waiting for. Hannah Dombrowski received a heart transplant Friday night after waiting since February, when doctors found an inoperable tumor on her heart.
