On Friday night we featured the Jay Ross All-Star Charity Basketball Game. Ross and several NFL players faced the Wilmington PD in a charity basketball. We checked out the action and we certainly took advantage of the opportunity to talk with the pros. This included Wilmington's Connor Barth.... On Friday we also featured a no-hitter in American Legion Baseball.... Plus, Whiteville native Chris Wilcox has agreed to remain with the NBA Boston Celtics for one more season.

Investigators say an apartment fire off Wrightsville Avenue last night quickly filled the home with smoke, with
one woman still inside. Before firefighters could arrive, neighbors jumped to action.
