Crews with Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will begin smoke testing operations on targeted areas of the sanitary sewer system beginning Wednesday (weather permitting). Notices were delivered to properties located in the affected area on Monday. Testing will start on Wednesday and will be conducted between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday.
