On Wednesday night the UNCW men's basketball team captured their second consecutive conference win. The Seahawks are now 2-3 in the CAA after a 65-60 victory over Old Dominion. A Wilmington man has been convicted of drug and gun charges after a 2011 shooting death in the Port City. A federal jury convicted Willis Sarvis, 34, of distrbution of PCP and using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime. Previously, Sarvis pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Full story...
