WWAY NewsChannel 3 wins top honors in news, weather and sports in NC

WWAY NewsChannel 3 has won Best Newscast in North Carolina in the NC Associated Press Broadcasters Awards. The station also took home top honors for weather and sports and several other categories from the AP. In all WWAY won 19 awards from the AP and the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas, which were given out at the RTDNAC annual conference at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.
