A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a semi-truck. Highway Patrol says the victim is Rodney Shyron Robinson, 44. They say Robinson was leaving his driveway at 4915 Natmore Road when he pulled into the path of a semi-truck. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene. Full story...

One woman is in jail after an Austrailian/Shepherd mixed canine was found abandoned in a foreclosed home. The dog was found in a wire crate and was severely dehydrated and malnourished. He was also unable to move his back legs. Full story...

After starting a gun control petition earlier this year, St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church in Shallotte is educating the community.
