videoThere will be a recount on a referendum for selling mixed drinks in Tabor City. Columbus County Board of Elections Supervisor Carla Strickland says the final vote was 133 for and 134 against the measure.

Carolina Beach mayoral race heads to Friday recount

video One week after Election Day, and the race for Carolina Beach mayor is not over just yet. Incumbent Bob Lewis has asked for a recount after the New Hanover County Board of Elections' canvass found challenger Dan Wilcox won by just seven votes.

DOJ agrees to allow US Airways-American merger
