videoIn just a few more days the Winter Olympics will be heating up in Sochi. There will be numerous sporting events to watch. It's pretty much everything under the sun, except roof snowboarding. The Winter Olympics Committee missed out on this one, but WWAY's John Rendleman didn't. He attended a rooftop snowboarding party on Wednesday.

Creativity reigns for makeshift sleds

videoIt's not often we get a snow day in southeastern North Carolina. So why let it go to waste when we finally get one? Everything from skim boards to street signs were used as as sleds. Kids of all ages made downtown Wilmington into a playground this afternoon.
