YOUNGSVILLE -- Authorities are investigating a shooting on a school bus that injured a middle school student in eastern North Carolina. WRAL-TV reported that Wake County investigators were questioning another student after the shooting Wednesday in Youngsville, about 25 miles north of Raleigh. Authorities haven't released any details. The father of the student who was wounded said the 14-year-old boy was taken to Rex Hospital for treatment of a .22-caliber gunshot wound in his upper leg. School system spokesman Michael Evans said the incident happened near Highway 96. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
