Authorities still search for person who left bomb

BOONE -- Police say a young adult male appears to be the person who left an explosive device outside a western North Carolina store. The Winston-Salem Journal reported Tuesday the Boone Police Department said the video showed someone running up to the Wal-Mart store about 5:40 a.m. Sunday. The device he left behind was found by an employee. Investigator Matt Stevens said the device was disabled by a bomb squad, but could have injured someone.
