Autopsy preformed on UNCW student

WILMINGTON -- A Jacksonville medical examiner performed an autopsy Thursday on the UNCW student found dead in his dorm room Wednesday morning. Eighteen-year-old William Sword was found dead by his roommate in their room in Galloway Hall. Thursday the medical examiner says Sword had no signs of physical trauma and no signs of disease. Blood tests are being done on the teen to see if drugs could have contributed to his death. University officials say sword's death poses no threat to the community or to students.

UNCW police are

UNCW police are professionals, I am a student at UNCW and feel completely safe knowing that UNCW police arrived on the scene.

I don't understand why UNCW

I don't understand why UNCW police handled this case.. What training do they have in crime investigating? Where they 100% sure this wasn't a murder? I don't think the death of a 18 year old anyone could be 100% sure of anything? Wilmington police should have been called in on this!!!!

Dumb Diana

Uhh...because it is the UNCW Police's jurisdiction..that is why they "handled" the case..learn your jurisdictional laws before you post..thank you.
