Medical examiners are saying the two parasailers killed last week in Ocean Isle Beach did not drown. Instead, the two women died from blunt trauma, according to autopsy reports.
Examiners were not able to determine the source of that trauma. The two women were visiting from out of town.
Wednesday morning, Coast Guard officials began investigating the cause of the accident.
