Availability of influenza vaccine this year

Even if you have just put away your sand pail and sunscreen, it is not too early to be thinking about the flu season. According to The Centers for Disease Control, over 143 million doses of the influenza vaccine will be available this year. Vaccines should be in stock in many locations during the month of September. In general, all people should get vaccinated. But according to the C.D.C., those at risk are children from six months to 19-years-old, those over 50, pregnant women and people with immune system problems should be vaccinated as soon as possible.
