Customers and employees at five Bank of America locations in the Wilmington area had to be evacuated today because of bomb threats. The county's 911 call center received five separate calls between 11 and 12 this morning saying there were bombs in four Wilmington branches and one Carolina Beach branch. The banks all decided to evacuate. The WPD checked out the locations and say they didn't find anything suspicious. The banks then reopened and resumed their normal course of business.
