Bravo! Let's hope they get something a litte stronger than probation.

Don't hold your breath

This is penny-ante stuff. They'll likely draw probation. I was just examining the record of a stellar character in Craven County earlier today. He has a record as long as your leg, was just convicted for "felon in possession of a firearm" for the SECOND time, and drew probation on a suspended 60 month term. Any wonder why crime is so rampant in this state? NO deterrent, whatsoever.

if they would have had some drugs on them, maybe some marijuana, then they would see jail time with out a doubt. We fill up the jails with small time drug dealers and users. BUT, when someone commits real crimes against society, we put them back into society?? Oh yeah I guess it was those drugs that was really causing the problem??????????? LEAP learn about it. The most important thing is to never stop questioning.

bandit brains

Hey dude, put on a shirt why don't you. I love it when criminals use their ill gotten gains for important, cant live without it stuff... like beer. Remind me when I am so desperate to steal a credit card and use it in a place that has cameras to buy diapers, baby food, toilet paper, medicine, stuff that can sway a jury, I can always come back a day later and return it for beer.
