Beach Blast welcomes back UNCW students

The beach was packed with UNCW students today.

The annual Beach Blast was held on Wrightville Beach. The event connects incoming freshman with their peers before classes begin.

Organizers say about 3,000 students attended the free party.

After the fun, it is back to school. Classes start tomorrow.
