The big top drops by Southport Christian

Some area school children spent the day under the big top. Southport Christian School hosted their own annual Circus Day for Students. Each entertainer, act, and animal was performed by the kids. Southport Christian first grader, Hailey Jones said, "I got to watch everybody and it was just fun." "It's just a fun time for them to learn about the different animals and the acts, and then put them on. I do this every year and it is just fun for the kids," said Connie Costa, a first grade teacher at Southport Christian. Each year the school hosts the circus as a learning exercise for first graders.
