Health Questions and Concerns
Submitted by Stephanie Beecken on 26 February 2008 - 12:51pm.
There are so many questions, concerns and myths out there when it comes to your health. Some people say to limit your carbohydrates while others say to limit how much meat you eat and watch out for trans fats. At the same time certain oils are good for you. It’s all so confusing. Then to make up for the unbalanced diets, we may be tempted to have an energy drink or eat a protein bar. Through research and just experimenting with different types of diets I have found that eating small meals throughout the day helps boost my metabolism and keeps me from binging on one huge meal during the day or going for a bag of cookies. There are so many issues and questions out there from the use of certain prescription drugs to new ‘fad’ diets. By: Stephanie Beecken N.C. Headlines |

The right thing
I think a lot of the confusion regarding what to eat stems from lack of personal research. When one buys a new car, s/he will spend hours researching the subject.
When it comes to health, they seem to listen to whatever is on the news today, in the popular magazines or what friends advise.
If they researched the actual scientific studies on diet, there would be much less confusion.
I get most of my research from the Nutrition & Metabolism Society site. What I have found & experienced is that natural health can be restored and ther is no need to be concerned with fats (of any kind), meats or many of the "forbidden foods" if we just steer clear of all refined carbs like bread, pasta, cookies ect... and sugar foods like candy.
It's worked for me and millions of others!
Good luck!
