Boil water advisory for Castle Hayne subdivision

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has issued a boil water advisory for the Shearin Hills subdivision in Castle Hayne.

Around 9:00 Wednesday morning, a water main broke after a contractor damaged the line.

Water service was restored at 11:15 a.m, but the boil-water advisory remains in effect until Thursday morning.
