Boy drowns at water festival

The community of Elizabethtown is mourning the loss of a six year old boy after he drowned Saturday during the White Lake Water Festival.

News Channel 3 was told he was an Elizabethtown Primary School Kindergartener.

The boy was swimming at Goldston's Pier between 8:00 and 9:00 pm when he drowned.

It is not clear how the drowning happened, but it is still under investigation.

Investigators say the child was with his family at the time.

The name of the boy is not being released because of his age.
