Brigade Boys and Girls Club hires a new director

The Brigade Boys and Girls Club of Wilmington have hired a new director. Jeffery Green is currently the Transylvania County Boys and Girls Club Executive Director. He will be Wilmington's Director starting December 1, 2008. He has worked with a couple different Boys and Girls Clubs in North Carolina over the past 8 years. Green, will be responsible for managing and planning the operation of the club. Boys and Girls Club board member, Scott Cromartie said, “Not really expecting any changes any organizations evolve through time but we really don't expect any changes at this point, no." The former director of the Brigade Boys and Girls Club had to leave because of the nepotism clause, which keeps family members from working together to prevent favoritism.

Thankyou Mr. Clark for all your years of service to the BRigade Boys and Girls Club. You deserve better than how the board traeted you, but you will be missed. No one could've ever done a better job tha you. You are irreplacable, but they can try all they want. The Brigade will never have an executive director that works harder or cares mor than you do. There was NOT a problem with

There was NOT a problem with Nepotism - my children went there and then worked there for several years and not one person was shown favoritism. They are trying to take God out of the Brigade. Hold on all you parents becuase the Clarks are going to have a Christian Based program that will be opening in 2009! Praise God!
