BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- Brunswick County Deputies are still looking for suspects wanted for a rash of pellet gun shootings across the area. They've done considerable damage but they've also shot at people. Authorities think they have the suspects on tape. NewsChannel Three has obtained Surveillance video of one of the shootings at the Southport Wal-Mart's parking lot. It shows a silver or blue pick up truck drive by parked cars in the parking lot. Deputies think the people inside are responsible for a rash of shootings with a BB or pellet gun. "When folks are in their cars and are shot at when they're inside their businesses and are shot at this seem to be a small reign of terror," Brunswick County Sheriff, Ron Hewett said. Investigators think two white males in their late teens or early twenties, went on a shooting spree in different parts of the county, southport and oak island Monday between 9:15 in the morning and 12:30 in the afternoon. There were more than 30 shootings reported, at both people in cars and businesses. The damage is considerable, more than thirty thousand dollars. "It's more than the monitary value which in itself is over thirty thousand dollars," Sheriff Hewett said, "This is about leveling a gun at human beings and pulling the trigger. This time it could be a pellet gun, next time it could be a rifle or a shot gun." The Brunswick County Sheriff's office says whomever is responsible will face numerous felony charges. They're offering a cash reward for anyone who knows something about these shootings.
