The man accused of murdering a Shallotte real estate agent last year will not be behind bars for much longer.
District Attorney Rex Gore confirmed that the family of Craig Bryant posted his $300,000 bond. Bryant is still in the Brunswick County Jail until a judge signs off on the paperwork to put Bryant on electronic house arrest.
The decision to put him on house arrest was made back in July, when a judge decreased his bond.
The judge is expected to sign off in the next two weeks.
