Burgaw played host to the Dixie Baseball Majors State Tournament. Sunday night's championship game featured Burgaw versus Kenansville and as WWAY's John Rendleman reports, a fair amount of controversy.
Once the dust settled, Burgaw managed to hold off Kenansville 3 - 1 to claim the North Carolina Dixie Majors State Championship.
Burgaw will travel to Charleston, South Carolina, for the Dixie Majors World Series later this month. They will face a team from Arkansas in round one.
