Freddie Lamb is on a mission. On the busiest delivery day of the year, this brown-suited Santa is making 180 stops - about 50 more than usual. "It's been interesting, it's a good day though, because just like delivering a package just now, that makes it all worthwhile," said Lamb. "When you deliver a package and you see a little kid come to the door and they're standing behind their mother or their father, and they got a little grin on their face, that makes it all worthwhile." The secret, Lamb said, is to keep moving. "The best part of my day is the end of the day when we deliver the last package. That's the one we're always looking for," he said. For the entire peak season, stretching from Thanksgiving to Christmas, UPS will deliver about 400 million packages worldwide. The men and women in brown aren't done yet. For many retailers, Monday is the last day you can order online and have it delivered in time for Christmas, meaning delivery companies will be staying busy the rest of the week.
