Summer is still a ways away, but it didn't stop some parents from planning their kids’ activities. Wilmington Parent magazine along with UNCW hosted the 6th Annual Camp Fair on Saturday. It's a one-stop shop for parents to find out what summer camps are available. More than 40 local and regional camps were on hand to help parents plan early. "I have two daughters that are camp age and we came to see what was available. We found so many wonderful things, including over night camps that I didn't even know were available for a six year old,” said Alexia Porzio of Wilmington. Fellow Wilmington parent Rick Stefanick said, "We were able to talk to the surf camps and guys like this we were able to talk to get information that you can't get making a phone call." Parents were able to walk away with all kinds of information to help make the best decision for the summer.
