WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The Cape Fear Fair & Expo starts tomorrow at the Wilmington International Airport, also known as the "Fairport!"
Ferris wheels, food and farm animals are among the fun for the whole family. There's a new attraction this year: an acrobatic show rated one of the best acts in the state.
"One of the things people don't realize is the rides, the food, and the games, just left Raleigh at the North Carolina State Fair," fair manager Skip Watkins said. "So for 21 years, we've had State Fair rides here in Wilmington.
The fair runs through Saturday, November 6. Tickets are $15 Monday through Thursday and $16 for the weekend.
For every advanced ticket purchased, one dollar goes to a Cape Fear Community College Scholarship Fund.
Kids under six are half price next Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
