Carolina Beach Police looking for missing teenager

I went to high school with this kid, actually. And though joining the army sounds like a possibility, if he told her he was joining on the 27th, it doesn't seem likely that he would already have gone to Ft. Benning for basic by the 29th. That timeline does not sound right to me at all, unless he had already joined and was calling to tell her that he was heading out for basic the NEXT DAY.

ok - kyle is a very good friend of mine, Nobody knows when exactally he went missing, he talked to him mom on the July 27th and said he was joining the army. on the 29th she went to surprize him with lunch and nobody had seen him since monday. And that's when she began looking. The military thing IS a possibility because a plane went out of wilmington on the 29th headed for ft. benning. Nobody knows anything for certain at this time, his mom has came into a lot of dead ends because he is 19. So basically right now, there is no difinitive answer, but we're just asking that people PLEASE stop all of the bogus rumors (because there has been quite a few around the topsail area) and to just please pray and get the word out. And if you know anything that could be helpful in finding him please do not hesitate to tell someone. We're doing everything in our power to try and bring him home. I just want him to know, where ever he is, we're looking for you kyle and we love you.

There is nothing more difficult for a parent than not knowing their childs whereabouts, this young man has been missing for almost two months and I can only imagine the fear and pain his parents must be feeling... My heart goes out to them as well as the friends, and family; I pray that their faith in God sustains them, it's times like these when hope, faith, and trust in God give you the strength to face each day without giving up or giving in. I pray that God will guide Jonathan's safe return home as well as that of every missing person, and ask each of you to do the same. I urge all you whether parents or not, to imagine not being able to find your child or loved one. Please share Jonathan's picture with your kids, family, friends, and co-workers maybe someone has seen him or has some idea where he was last seen and going.
