UNC Wilmington was to make its only home appearance of the cross country season Sunday for the 23rd Seahawk Invitational. The race was originally scheduled for Friday, but Tropical Storm Hanna moved the 5K races ahead two days to Sunday, and then on Friday morning, it was announced the meet has been cancelled altogether. The Seahawk XC teams travel to Conway, S.C., for the Coastal Carolina Invitational next Saturday, Sept. 13, in a 6 p.m. start. Women's Soccer The Seahawks (1-2-1) are coming off a 5-0 loss at No. 15 Wake Forest Sunday. Freshman midfielder Erin Pardini, the reigning CAA Rookie-of-the-Week, leads UNCW in scoring with four points (1G, 2A). Men's Golf Clark, who was hired as the Seahawks’ head coach in July, and his squad will now open their season on Sept. 29-30, when they play in the VCU Shootout in Richmond, Va.
