New Hanover Girls Hoopsters top Ashley

The Lady Wildcats made their way to Ashley for a Mideastern Conference showdown and picked up a 42-31 win on Friday night. Missing their starting point guard, the New Hanover girls used a balanced scoring attack led by Morgan King and Kiara Brewster who each scored ten points, while Maggie Sullivan and Tysheia Robinson had seven points a piece.

Megan Goins netted ten points for the Screamin’ Eagles, while Ashley Altman chipped in with eight points and Amanda Yoworski with six.
