WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNC Wilmington head men’s soccer coach Aidan Heaney has announced the addition of TJ Rennie to his staff as a volunteer coach in 2008-09.

Rennie has served in a number of capacities over the six years in the Wilmington soccer community, most recently with the New Hanover High School programs. With the Wildcats, Rennie was an assistant for both the boys and girls programs.

“I have a tremendous amount of respect for Coach Heaney and the program, and I’m very excited to become a part of UNCW Athletics,” said Rennie.

Rennie brings several years of experience as head coach at the club level after guiding the ’94 Wave Blue and ’90 Breakers squads of the Cape Fear Soccer Association.
