WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- The City of Wilmington holds the last of three budget education meetings tonight. Attendees will hear a presentation about the budget and will have the opportunity to discuss questions and concerns in small group discussions with city staff. Tonight's meeting is from 6 to 7:30 in City Hall. At their last mtg. our city council gave a grant to bailout an organization that has gone fiscally and morally bankrupt. It is sad to see what was once a good organization now become nothing more than a fear group always distorting the race card to try to gain political
advantage. It is very sad to see their attempt to smear good people--they should look in a mirror. The naacp in wilmington can ill afford to question others given their own failings. They have no moral or intellectal standing-shame on them and shame on us if we dont reject their efforts at racism and smears.
