Coast Guard Cutter Diligence leaves Port City Friday

After a little more than seven weeks at home, the Coast Guard Cutter Diligence is leaving port Friday.

They returned from their latest mission on June 5th. When the crew leaves Friday, they will be performing several jobs. They will conduct homeland security operations, search and rescue, and will also work to keep immigrants and narcotics from coming into the country.

The Diligence leaves today at 1:30 p.m.
