Comedy Show at Thalian to Benefit Alzheimer’s

On Sunday evening, September 23rd, internationally known Comedian Basile, who sells out 20,000 seat venues in places like Canada , England and Australia will present “The Bare Necessities World Tour” live right here in Wilmington at 7pm at Thalian Hall as a benefit for the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Erin Musser of the local Alzheimer’s fundraising committee says, “As the October 13th date of our biggest fundraiser of the year, A Day to Remember Volleyball Tournament and Family Fun Festival held at Captain Bill’s Backyard Grill nears, Basile’s performance will be instrumental in helping us reach our 2007 goal of raising $75,000. He is so funny and we are honored and thrilled to have him do this for us. This is a fun event that you can enjoy and help others simultaneously.”

Experience Basile unplugged and in concert! BANG—you laugh. POW— you grab your sides. CRUNCH—you try to catch your breath. And then, while still dizzy from his hilarious whirlwind, you’ll end the evening on your feet applauding one of the hottest comedy acts in the Country and feeling good deep down inside because you’ve just helped someone dealing with Alzheimer’s.

Reserve your ticket today! For tickets, call the Thalian Hall Box Office at 343-3664 today! Hurry! Seats are limited.
