Why are you so angry? First, I have DirectTV...I VERY RARELY EVER loose reception...RARELY....my parents, who have TW...loose their digital signal just as much as I do...which is still rarely. When their cable is OUT....guess what...my satellite ALWAYS IS WORKING...I get a DIRECT SIGNAL from space...what TW gives you is a signal THEY RECEIVE BY WHAT...SATELLITE, then pump it thru cable to your home...so in essence you are getting a third hand signal... LASTLY...I don't depend on TV for emergency situations...that is why I have an FM radio with batteries...
