Ocean Isle beach requests funding

Brunswick county officials continue to assess damage done by tropical storm Hanna. Ocean Isle Beach mayor Debbie Smith says the town is still working to compile the damage totals. Hanna destroyed 2nd street on the east end of the island. There is a chance the county will get federal assistance. Mayor Smith says there are FEMA dollars available for counties that declare a state of emergency, which Brunswick county did during Hanna.
