Not only will one of the most beautiful places on earth be preserved forever, but acquiring 2,600 acres for $12 million is amazing. There are homes on 1 acre lots at the base of Grandfather Mountain that cost millions of dollars. Hugh Morton left a legacy on Grandfather Mountain, and I am thrilled Hugh's vision, hard work, and accomplishments will be preserved and enjoyed for generations to come.
