SO...this isn't REALLY about trees....but getting that permit application fee...THAT is the truth of it. MANY property owners cut trees to pay for the lot or taxes...clear cutting IS ugly and it's practice should be avoided when it can...but this isn't the COUNTIES property...its a private owners and it should be theirs to do what they wish with.
