In every exam room Dr. Perry had were signs posted, drug seekers be warned, and the list of drugs he did not give at random. I myself being a patient , and him knowing me , he still would not easily give you pain meds, or things such as valium, and so forth. I was having alot of emotional problems at one time , and I wanted a little valium to help me sleep. He told me flat out NO. He prescribed a small amount of xanax and told me to use it wisely because that was it. He said these drugs are very addictive, and I do not want you to get dependent on anything. So, for me to actually for one moment think that he is this drug running, wild mad doctor, who is carelessly throwing drugs to any and everybody is ridiculous. The man was, and is a brillant doctor. He was always professional, his bed side manner was impeccable, and his diagnosis was always spot on. It took one trip to him, where as other so called doctors will having you come back every few days. This community will not be the same without Dr. Robert Perry, he was the last in a dying breed of REAL family doctors. I pray that each one of his patiens that know what I am saying sits down, and takes a few moments to write the N.C. Medical Board and fight for this wonderful man. He always protected us (his patients), we all owe him that much.
DR. PERRY WAS CAUTIOUS WITH PRESCRIPTIONS
