Suspected Wachovia bank robber caught

Wilmington police arrested two people in connection to a Monday incident at a Wachovia bank. John Maccarter is charged with felony larceny. Leigh Ann West was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Police say Maccarter grabbed cash from a bank teller's window, and ran off from the shipyard location. Maccarter was taken in to custody from a local hotel with help from the FBI and US Marshals. West and Maccarter are being held in the New Hanover County jail under secured bond.
