I will never forget the day I heard someone tell Sheriff Hewett that what he was doing was against the law, he replied"Iam the LAW". Iam sorry Mr. Hewett it does not look that way now does it? Maybe Mr. Hewett is a good man,but the problem was in his mind that he was the law.I will never forget the day one of my kids came home from school and had said that she had ate lunch with the Sheriff,she was so happy to have had such a chance to be sitting with this "great man".Tonight we had to finally tell her and our other two kids that the law is not always as it seems and that was very hard for us to do.One last thing that I have to say to Mr.Hewett, is that God forgives and we forgive you to.Just remember it is not a lesson unless you have learned something,to the family of Mr.Hewett our family will keep your family in our prayers.
