The kids that go to these schools live not only beside the schools but also into the areas involved in the search. Would you want your child going home, sometimes to an empty home because their parents are at work to walk into their home only to find an escaped inmate hiding inside. I'm sure everyone was doing what they thought was in the best interest of the children.
