Pet food recall expanded

READ MORE:
Veterinarians are asking pet owners not to panic after a pet food recall expanded to include dry pet food. They say with the exception of the recalled foods you should continue to feed your pet the same diet. But if you're concerned your pet may be sick here are some signs to look out for. American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine's Dr. Sandy Willis said, "They're signs of general disease: not eating, not feeling well, vomiting, diarrhea, urinating more, drinking more, and the veterinarian can do some simple blood tests, urinalysis, to make sure everything is fine." The FDA expanded the recall late Friday after Hill's Pet Nutrition announced a voluntary recall of Hill's Prescription Diet m/d Feline as a precaution. The product is part of a growing list of tainted pet food.
