WILMINGTON -- The block between Market and Princess is open in both directions. And that section is now two-way, so be sure to look for the double lines and watch for oncoming cars. The section of Front Street between Princess and Walnut Streets is repaved and open, but that portion is still one-way because the lines haven't been painted yet. Wilmington Police say use caution while getting used to the changes. Lt. Prince said, "The best indicator is watching the speed limit. If you stay at the 25 mile-an-hour speed limit in that area you'll probably be safe, and it will give you time to react to anything that's out of the ordinary." Wilmington officials say the final three blocks of Front Street should be finished this week.
