There is a lot of government land in these five counties. Maybe we should have our Congressman Mike McIntyre look into building a new VA hospital here in New Hanover county or somewhere close to us. I'm a 100% disabled Vietnam Vet and for all my medical needs, except for routine blood work and check up's I still have to go to Fayetteville. My wife is totally disabled and I cannot leave her alone while I have to travel to Fayetteville. So I cannot get the proper care I need. There are thousands of Veterans in my position.
